Your visit and price

£70 up to 10 road miles; £80 over 10 to 15 road miles; £90 over 15 to 30 road miles, travel included.

Your home visit includes travel, a consultation, an ear examination and wax removal where suitable, for one clear price. The full visit fee also applies if no wax is present or removal is not suitable or cannot be completed. It does not guarantee removal or a particular hearing outcome.

Payment after your visit by card or bank transfer. No payment is taken when booking. New prices and terms apply to bookings made under these terms; existing bookings retain their previously agreed terms.

Booking

We visit Maidstone and up to 30 road miles from our base. Enter the visit postcode first, then select a time at least two hours ahead. Submit the full address and contact details to confirm your in-area visit. A slot is held for ten minutes while you enter details. Allow 45 minutes for the visit; we reserve 45 minutes afterwards for travel.

The consultation form follows confirmation and can be completed during the visit. Completing it in advance helps us prepare. A confirmed booking does not replace clinical assessment or consent to treatment.

Children and medical advice

Minimum age 5. For ages 5 to 16, a parent or guardian must sign the consultation form and be present at the visit.

For sudden hearing loss, hearing worsening over days or weeks, or hearing loss with earache or discharge, seek urgent GP or NHS 111 advice. Do not wait for this appointment.

Tell us about infection, pain, discharge, perforations, surgery, grommets, medical conditions or medicines. James selects microsuction, irrigation or manual removal after examining your ears. If treatment is unsuitable, advice and assessment are still provided and the agreed visit fee applies.

Changes and cancellations

We understand that plans can change. You can cancel or reschedule free of charge with more than 48 hours’ notice. For cancellations 24–48 hours before your visit, the charge is 50% of the agreed visit fee. Within 24 hours, or if nobody answers the door for your visit, the full agreed visit fee applies. If a cancellation charge applies, we’ll email you a secure payment link, with payment due within 24 hours. Please contact us if you have any questions. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Full cancellation policy. No cancellation fee is collected from your card automatically. Any payment request will identify the booking, amount and reason. Contact us if you dispute it.
