Blocked ears in Maidstone: what to expect from a home visit
If your ears feel blocked, you may be wondering whether wax removal could help and how to arrange it without travelling to a clinic. Here is how a home visit with Earwax Removal Expert works.
First, make sure you get the right help
Wax build-up can cause muffled hearing, discomfort or ringing. These symptoms can also have other causes, so an examination matters. Avoid putting cotton buds or other objects into your ear canal: they can push wax further in.
Booking your visit
Choose an available date and time on our online calendar, then complete the suitability and address form to confirm an eligible visit automatically. A request receipt alone is not the final confirmation. Please check your inbox and junk folder, and call if you are unsure about your booking.
What happens at home?
We bring the ear-care equipment to you. The visit begins with your symptoms and ear history, followed by an examination of both ears. Where removal is appropriate, the method is chosen to suit your ears rather than deciding on one technique in advance.
The available methods are microsuction, warm water irrigation and manual removal. Your ears are checked again afterwards and we explain your individual aftercare.
Preparing for the appointment
Have your booking confirmation and any relevant ear-treatment history ready. Contact us if you are unsure about preparation. A pharmacist can advise on wax-softening products; do not use ear drops with a perforated eardrum. Follow advice suitable for your own ears.
Prices and visiting areas
£70 up to 10 road miles; £80 over 10 to 15 road miles; £90 over 15 to 30 road miles, travel included. Your home visit includes travel, a consultation, an ear examination and wax removal where suitable, for one clear price. The full visit fee also applies if no wax is present or removal is not suitable or cannot be completed.
Check your postcode and price before booking. Same-day, evening and weekend visits are subject to availability.
