Your home visit includes travel, a consultation, an ear examination and wax removal where suitable, for one clear price. The full visit fee also applies if no wax is present or removal is not suitable or cannot be completed.

What happens at home
We discuss your hearing and ear history, examine both ears, and choose a suitable approach. Equipment for microsuction, warm water irrigation and manual removal is brought to the visit. You receive advice afterwards.
Minimum age 5. A parent or guardian must sign the consultation form and be present for ages 5 to 16. Tell us about pain, discharge, infection, perforation, grommets, surgery or medical concerns in the booking and consultation forms; treatment suitability is checked at the visit. For sudden hearing loss, contact an urgent GP service or NHS 111 rather than waiting for a wax-removal appointment.
